Hello! My name is Liz Osceola, and I’m a 500 hour Registered Yoga Teacher with specialized training in Menopause Yoga and Trauma Informed Yoga.

Now that the boring credentials are out of the way, I want to introduce you to who I really am.

I’m you.

I’m a wife and partner, a mother (yes, those animals count too!), a daughter, a sister, an employee, and a caregiver. But the most important thing I am is a woman.

I am a 49 year old woman.

I have seen things.
I have done things.
I have lived highs and lows.

And at my lowest, I found yoga.

Yoga helped me save me.

I could throw a lot of yoga philosophy and technical terms at you, and you’ll get plenty of that in future blogs 😉 but for now, I’ll speak plainly. Yoga gave me myself back. It brought me so much healing and clarity that I knew I had to share it. I knew I had to teach it.

So I became a teacher.

Around age 45, I started noticing changes in my body and emotions. I knew what was happening, but I preferred denial. Perimenopause had arrived. That word so many of us hear whispered, if it’s spoken at all.

I began experiencing symptoms I didn’t fully understand, and like many women my age, menopause had never been openly discussed growing up. It was treated as the moment you became “old,” as if life simply stopped.

When I sought help, I was met with two common responses:
“Just deal with it,” or silence.

That wasn’t good enough for me.

So I turned to what had already changed my life, yoga.

I sought out specialized menopause training and dove in wholeheartedly. My mission (a word that sometimes feels like I’m heading into battle) is to change the narrative around menopause.

Because menopause does not have to be a silent battle.

It doesn’t have to be something we push through, suffer through, or fight against in our bodies.

Instead, this season of life can be about learning to listen to your body, support it, and work with it rather than against it.

To honor what your body is asking for.
To move in ways that feel healing instead of exhausting.
To breathe through change instead of resisting it.

Aging is not something to fear.

It is powerful.
It is beautiful.

And it is deeply transformative.

I created a practice that blends gentle movement, breathwork, and meditation to support women through this transition and help ease the symptoms we so often struggle with in silence.

Menopause does not have to be scary or shameful.

It is a time of becoming whole.

It is a season of wisdom, intuition, inner strength, and renewal.

And I cannot wait to walk this journey and share my passion with you.

Namaste 🙏♥️
Liz
