Bring me your Sticky Notes | Michele Hearn | Sanara Wellness

“Sometimes the first step is simply giving yourself permission to ask, ‘What do I need now?‘”
Bring Me Your Sticky Notes
Some women come to our coaching sessions with a clear goal. They know what they want to work on, can name the challenge, and are ready to make a plan.
Others come in with what I like to call a brain full of sticky notes covered with any or all of the following:
- Wellness
- Habits
- Career
- Identity
- Family
- Confidence
- A transition they did not expect
- A crisis they are still making sense of
- Or simply the feeling that something needs to change, even if they cannot quite name what yet
Both are completely normal, and in my coaching work, all these things matter because they affect how we feel, function, and move through our lives.
One of the things I see repeatedly is that people often do not need more advice. They just need space to hear themselves think, and that is where coaching can be powerful.
Together, we can slow things down, sort through what feels tangled, look for patterns, and identify what matters most right now and what may be getting in the way.
Sometimes that leads to a practical next step, creates a new perspective, or helps someone recognize that they are actually doing better than they thought. And sometimes it is simply the first time in a while that they have given themselves permission to ask: “What do I need now?”
Sanara Wellness gives us a wonderful opportunity to have those conversations. I invite you to think about what you need to keep moving forward—or what you may be ready to change.
The first step can be very simple: choose a date and time for us to talk.
Try this before we meet:
- Take a blank piece of paper and do a quick brain dump.
- Write down anything that has been taking up space lately—questions, worries, goals, decisions, habits, ideas, things you keep meaning to address, or thoughts you cannot seem to turn off.
- Do not organize it or try to solve it. Just get it out of your head and onto the page.
- Schedule your session and bring your notes with you.
That’s it.
We can sort through it together, decide what matters most right now, and figure out where to begin.
