Yoga, Menopause, and Women Reclaiming Their Power

1–2 minutes

As Sanara Wellness’ Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-500), Liz Osceola brings specialized training in menopause yoga and trauma-informed practice, along with a deeply personal understanding of the challenges many women experience during midlife. In this heartfelt conversation, Liz shares her journey with yoga, her experience navigating menopause, and why she is so passionate about helping women reconnect with their bodies in a more compassionate and empowering way.

Like many women, Liz found herself feeling unheard and dismissed while going through menopause. Searching for support and answers, she turned back to yoga — a practice that had already helped her through difficult seasons earlier in life. Through specialized menopause yoga training, Liz discovered a more supportive and empowering approach to movement, wellness, and healing during this stage of life.

This conversation is about so much more than yoga poses. It is about changing the narrative around menopause and helping women understand that this season of life is not the end of who they are. Instead, it can become one of the most empowering, grounded, and transformative chapters yet.

One of our favorite reminders from Liz is that yoga does not have to feel intimidating or complicated. As she beautifully explains, yoga can simply be sitting quietly, closing your eyes, and taking a few deep breaths. It is about reconnecting with yourself, listening to your body, and creating moments of calm and awareness in everyday life.

At Sanara Wellness, we believe women deserve support that helps them feel seen, heard, educated, and empowered. We are honored to have Liz as part of our mission to provide compassionate, holistic wellness support for women navigating menopause, inflammation, stress, and midlife changes.
